Vinicius Talks About His Bad Relationship With Xabi Alonso Ahead of the Match Against Bayern Munich
The Brazilian forward spoke at a press conference about the relationship with the former Real Madrid coach
The complicated relationship with Alonso
Vinicius discussed his strained relationship with Xabi Alonso following the latter's departure from Real Madrid after the team's defeat in the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona.
At a press conference ahead of tomorrow's match against Bayern Munich, he spoke about his relationship with the Spanish coach, who has now left Real Madrid.
Vinicius's Statements
“I played games, but only for a few minutes. But every coach has their own methods, and I didn't connect the way he wanted. But it was a learning experience, and I hope I can continue with Arbeloa, as I have a wonderful connection with him and he has always given me confidence,” said the Brazilian striker.
He spoke positively about his relationship with Real Madrid's current coach, the interim manager who replaced Xabi and remained at the helm of the team for this season. “With Arbeloa, I've had a special connection, just like I did with Ancelotti. He has always made it clear to me what he wants from me. It's about connecting with game concepts. I've always given my best, and I'll continue to do so. I don't think I've ever gone this long without scoring a goal. I've learned from this tough period, and I want to keep learning. The best players always turn things around,” said Vinicius.

Upcoming Champions League match
Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich at the Bernabéu in the first leg of these UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, aiming to secure a comfortable result for the return leg in Germany.
