Harry Kane Reaches 100 Bundesliga Goals

Harry Kane has just surpassed 100 Bundesliga goals during Bayern Munich's dominant win over Union Berlin, doing so while setting a new record.

Kane needed just 98 Bundesliga appearances to reach 100 goals, becoming the fastest player in the history of the competition to reach that milestone. The previous record belonged to Dieter Müller, who needed 129 appearances with FC Köln.

The Penalty That Made the Night Historic

Michael Olise was fouled inside the box, and Kane stepped up to take the penalty. Without hesitation, the English striker placed his shot next to the left post to beat the goalkeeper and send the Allianz Arena into celebration.

Kane has maintained an extraordinary scoring rate since arriving in Germany. The Englishman has averaged a goal every 78.5 minutes in the competition, a rate better than that of other prolific scorers such as Robert Lewandowski and Gerd Müller.

Kane Didn't Stop at 100 and Reached 101

In the second half, the Englishman struck again with a header to make it 4-0 against Union Berlin.

The goal came in the 54th minute, following a cross from Michael Olise, who also delivered a spectacular performance at the Allianz Arena with his hat-trick. With that finish, Kane went from 100 to 101 Bundesliga goals in the same match.

Kane has also finished as the Bundesliga's top scorer for three consecutive seasons and received the Bundesliga Player of the Season award for 2024-25, in addition to winning the European Golden Shoe in the 2023-24 and 2025-26 campaigns.

A Historic Night Within an Unforgettable Rout

Kane's record became part of an even greater attacking display. Bayern Munich defeated Union Berlin 7-0, turning the match into a dominant showcase of attacking power.

After Kane's second goal, Michael Olise took center stage and completed his impressive hat-trick, while Jamal Musiala and Ismael Saibari also got on the scoresheet. The final result allowed Bayern to close out an almost perfect night in front of their home fans.
