Ferran Torres emerges as PSG goalscorer with six goals in just five games
Ferran Torres joined Paris Saint-Germain after the World Cup and has needed very little time to emerge as a goalscorer. The Spaniard already has six goals in just five appearances for the Parisian club after finding the net again in Ligue 1 with a brilliant finish following a superb Ousmane Dembélé assist.
The Spanish forward has quickly found his place at PSG, and his numbers underline just how productive his start has been.
Ferran opened his account with a brace against Stade Rennais on Matchday 1 of Ligue 1 and has continued adding goals ever since.
From a Champions League hat-trick to another Ligue 1 goal
His biggest scoring display came in the Champions League, when he scored three of PSG's six goals in a 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava and was named Player of the Match.
After that performance, Ferran explained how comfortable he already feels alongside his new teammates.
“I'm having very good feelings. It's easy to play with this type of player (...) What I try to do is be happy off and on the pitch,” he told Canal+.
And the goals have kept coming.
The Spaniard struck again on Matchday 4 of Ligue 1, finishing off a brilliant Ousmane Dembélé assist with a superb goal.
