Harry Styles shows his Messi soccer tricks during concert at Wembley Stadium
The singer blended music and football in a viral moment
No matter where you are in the world, the World Cup spirit can be felt everywhere. The passion that football creates is difficult to ignore and, despite the challenges happening across the globe, there is always hope in seeing people come together the way they do during World Cup season.
Another place where that same energy and connection can be felt is at concerts, where thousands gather to share the music of their favorite artists. With Harry Styles currently traveling the world on his "Together, Together" tour, there may be no better setting to celebrate that sense of unity.

When music and football met at Wembley
During one of his concerts, those two worlds collided when a plastic ball flew onto the stage, creating an assist for Harry at the iconic Wembley Stadium. Spotting the opportunity immediately, Styles controlled the ball with ease before clearing it away, showing off some Messi-like technique while performing "American Girls" from his new album.
The moment quickly went viral as Harry showed that, despite being in London, he is also feeling the excitement of the World Cup. The timing made it even more fitting, with England coming off a strong start to the tournament after defeating Croatia 4-2 and getting a measure of revenge for the loss that kept them out of the 2018 World Cup final.
A familiar passion for the game
Harry's love for football is well known. As a Manchester United supporter, he will likely be keeping a close eye on the World Cup throughout the tournament.
It is not the first time football has crossed paths with one of his tours. Back in 2022, while performing in Buenos Aires during Love On Tour, Styles celebrated Argentina's 2-1 World Cup victory over Australia by running onto the stage at River Plate Stadium and sharing the moment with fans.
The match had been shown live inside the venue just hours before the concert, creating another memorable connection between Harry Styles and the world's biggest football event.
