ONE Championship will deliver two high-stakes World Title bouts on Friday, March 20, when ONE Friday Fights 147 takes over Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium. The card features two must-watch championship clashes that promise elite striking and career-defining moments.

Undisputed ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane defends his belt against Thai contender Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon in a showdown born from a post-fight challenge earlier this year. In addition, legendary striker Nong-O Hama faces undefeated rising star Asadula Imangazaliev for the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title.

Anane answers Rambolek’s challenge

Nabil Anane is set to make his first defense of the bantamweight Muay Thai crown, and tension has been building ahead of the matchup.

After knocking out Abdulla Dayakaev, Anane’s teammate at Team Mehdi Zatout, during ONE Fight Night 39 in January, Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon seized the microphone and demanded a shot at the title. The 6-foot-4 Thai-Algerian phenom accepted immediately backstage, setting the stage for a fiery collision on March 20.

Anane secured undisputed status following an outstanding 2025 campaign. He knocked out Nico Carrillo to capture interim gold and later avenged a previous setback by defeating Superlek, who had been stripped of the bantamweight crown after missing weight, at ONE 172. Shortly after being elevated to undisputed champion, Anane found success competing in kickboxing. Now, he returns to Muay Thai aiming to defend his belt and claim the 42nd victory of his professional career.

Rambolek enters his first World Title opportunity boasting a 67-14 record and a five-fight winning streak that includes three straight knockouts. A protégé of Superbon and Nong-O Hama, he first made headlines as the inaugural athlete to earn a US$100,000 contract through ONE Friday Fights. Now he returns to the stage that launched his rise for a full-circle championship moment.

Vacant flyweight crown up for grabs

Another pivotal clash will see two fighters attempt to cement their legacies as they battle for the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title.

At 39 years old, Nong-O Hama, the longtime former bantamweight champion, is aiming to reach the summit in a second weight class. Standing opposite him is undefeated Russian standout Asadula Imangazaliev, who seeks to capture gold and announce himself as a new force in the division.

After winning the inaugural bantamweight title in 2019, Nong-O defended it seven consecutive times before losing to Jonathan Haggerty in April 2023. He moved down to flyweight in 2025 and, after dropping a split decision to Kongthoranee Sor Sommai, avenged the loss emphatically in their rematch three months later to earn his shot at the vacant crown.

Imangazaliev has taken a very different route to this opportunity. The Russian earned his ONE Championship contract at ONE Friday Fights 122 by knocking out seven-time Muay Thai World Champion Panpayak Jitmuangnon in the opening round. He then proved his legitimacy by accomplishing what even Nong-O had not — knocking out Kongthoranee at ONE Fight Night 39. Now unbeaten at 11-0, the 22-year-old returns to the weekly series that launched his rise, chasing the vacant flyweight world title.
