Building momentum is the unofficial theme for the action-packed ONE Friday Fights 174 card at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, October 9, and the end goal is the same for many of the Muay Thai, MMA, and kickboxing stars competing at the show: secure a US$100,000 contract and a coveted spot on ONE Championship's global roster.
Dedduanglek vs. Mongkoldetlek Headlines ONE Friday Fights 174

Beloved Veterans Meet In Main Event
In the main event, Road to ONE: Thailand winner Dedduanglek Torfunfarm will square off against former Lumpinee Stadium World Champion Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on in bantamweight Muay Thai action.
Dedduanglek earned his life-changing contract by winning the Road to ONE: Thailand tournament in 2022 and enjoyed a hot start on the ONE Championship roster, defeating the likes of Taiki Naito and Kongsuk Sitsarawatsuer.
The Thai would experience mixed results in the years to follow, but everything turned around in late 2025, as he won four of his six last matches. And, a recent nine-day monkhood experience has provided the spiritual reset needed to continue his success.
Standing across from him will be Mongkoldetlek, who has a whole new motivation. The Thai veteran used to be part of the ONE Championship roster, beating the likes of former ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Joseph Lasiri and former top-five flyweight Muay Thai contender Elias Mahmoudi.
After leaving the organization in 2022 and competing in other promotions, Mongkoldetlek joined the ONE Friday Fights circuit determined to get back to the global roster. Now on a four-bout winning streak, he is closer than ever to the contract he has been seeking.
A Prime Bounce-Back Opportunity In The Co-Main Event
Both fighters in the co-main event are looking to erase a loss, setting up a flyweight Muay Thai clash with real stakes attached.
Aldo Cruz came up just short in a split decision against Buakaew Sor Sor Pakorn, a defeat that nonetheless highlighted his toughness and ability to compete at a high level. The Mexican star, who has a previous first-round TKO under his belt, is eager to display his killer instinct once again and make his efforts pay off.
Khundet PK Saenchai carries the same motivation into Friday. The 21-year-old has flashed keen finishing ability before, stopping ManU Sitjanim inside the first round, and he'll look to rediscover that form after a recent loss derailed his own momentum.
