Alcaraz extends his lead in the ATP rankings

Following his victory in Melbourne, Alcaraz climbed to 13,650 ATP ranking points, opening a 3,350-point gap over Jannik Sinner, who was defending last year’s title.

The Spaniard is set to remain world No. 1 for the coming months, while Sinner will be able to add points throughout 2025 after missing early events due to a three-month suspension.

Meanwhile, Djokovic will rise to third in the ATP rankings, overtaking Alexander Zverev.
