Live: Rizespor vs. Fenerbahçe | Süper Lig
Fenerbahçe looks for its second consecutive victory after an impressive 8-0 win over Eyüpspor. Meanwhile, Rizespor hopes to take advantage of playing at home, while Marco Asensio could make his return to action.
Fenerbahçe returns to Süper Lig action with what promises to be a challenging away fixture. İsmail Kartal's side will face Çaykur Rizespor on Saturday, October 10, at Çaykur Didi Stadium in Matchday 7 of the Turkish championship.
The visitors are coming off an emphatic 8-0 victory over Eyüpspor, a result that helped restore confidence and put them firmly back in contention for the top spots in the standings.
Before that dominant performance, Fenerbahçe had dropped valuable points against Beşiktaş and Gaziantep FK, making a second consecutive victory essential to maintaining pressure on its rivals.
The Istanbul club has demonstrated its attacking potential during the opening weeks of the season, but it will now need to replicate that performance in a difficult away environment.
Rizespor Aims to Pull Off an Upset in Front of Its Fans
Çaykur Rizespor, managed by Recep Uçar, enters the match looking to improve its results at home.
After six matches, the team has recorded three wins, one draw, and two defeats, collecting ten points, the same total as its upcoming opponent heading into this round.
Although Fenerbahçe boasts a squad with greater international experience, Rizespor has shown it can compete in a league where the gap between teams continues to narrow.
Head coach Recep Uçar acknowledged the visitors' attacking quality but insisted that his team will approach the match determined to claim all three points, regardless of the opposition.
One of the home side's main objectives will be to use the support of its fans to secure its first home victory of the season.

Fenerbahçe Regains Options Ahead of Rizespor Clash
One of the biggest developments for İsmail Kartal is the possibility of having Marco Asensio available again after the Spaniard spent several weeks working his way back to full fitness.
The former Real Madrid player could provide an important attacking option, although his inclusion in the starting lineup will depend on the coaching staff's final decision.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe will be without Mert Müldür, who underwent surgery in Austria after suffering an injury.
Another notable development is the return of Mert Hakan Yandaş, who is once again eligible to compete after serving his disciplinary suspension.
With these squad updates, the visitors will look to maintain the level displayed in their previous match and collect three points that could prove crucial in the standings.
