Fenerbahçe Roar Back to Crush Rizespor 5-2
In Matchday 13 of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe pulled off a huge comeback on the road, defeating Çaykur Rizespor 5-2.
The visitors found themselves in early trouble after conceding twice in the first half. Ali Sowe struck in the 6th minute, and Qazim Laçi doubled the lead in the 15th, putting Rizespor firmly in control.
But the second half was a completely different story. Fenerbahçe came out firing and turned the match on its head with an explosive attacking display. Marco Asensio led the charge with goals in the 54th and 65th minutes, Talisca scored in the 58th, En-Nesyri added another in the 78th, and Archie Brown sealed the rout in the 88th.
With this win, Fenerbahçe stay just one point off the top and reach 31 points, holding onto second place. Çaykur Rizespor remain on 14 points and drop to 11th in the standings.
Next week brings a massive showdown as Fenerbahçe host Galatasaray, while Çaykur Rizespor will welcome Zecorner Kayserispor at home.
