Now, during the match between Inter Miami and Orlando City in the MLS, Lionel Messi kicked a ball towards a little girl in the stands at DRV PNK Stadium.
However, the unexpected reaction of the girl's father went viral on social media, as the video captures him saying, 'It's okay my love, Messi hit you, baby... Messi, it's fine, nothing happened!'
On the other hand, it was a perfect game for the Argentine star and the Miami team, where they defeated Orlando City 5-0 with goals from Messi and Luis Suárez, and an additional one from Robert Taylor.
In response, Lionel Messi commented that he was very happy with the performance of his Uruguayan friend and teammate: 'I am very happy for him, that he was able to score. We were calm, we know what Luis is capable of, everyone knows it,' he declared at the end of the match.
The next match for Messi, Suárez, and Inter Miami will be on Thursday, March 7, when they face Nashville in the CONCACAF Champions League round of 16.
