The €160M Olise Rumor Shaking European Football
Reports from Germany claim Real Madrid could be preparing a massive offer for Bayern Munich star Michael Olise, a rumor that has quickly spread across European football.
A new transfer rumor is making waves across European football, linking Real Madrid with Bayern Munich star Michael Olise. German newspaper Bild described the report as a “wild rumor” suggesting that the Spanish giants could be preparing a massive offer worth up to €160 million for the 24-year-old playmaker.
According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is a big admirer of Olise and is pushing for the club to sign the French international after the season ends.
“Real Madrid are pushing to sign Michael Olise; the club could make an offer reaching €160 million,” Konur reported, sparking widespread discussion across the European media. Similarly, journalist Christian Falk wrote in Sport Bild that Pérez may be preparing a blockbuster signing to excite fans and shift attention away from an inconsistent season.
Despite the speculation, Bayern Munich are not expected to sell. Olise is under contract until 2029 and does not have a release clause, making any potential deal extremely complicated.
The winger’s market value is estimated at around €130 million, and his performances this season have been outstanding, with 15 goals and 27 assists in 38 matches. Olise developed in the academies of Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC and Manchester City before breaking through professionally at Reading FC and later shining at Crystal Palace, which eventually led to his move to Bayern in 2024.
