Nacional Potosí secured a 2-0 victory against FC Universitario in the First Stage of the 2024 Copa Sudamericana. With this result, Nacional Potosí advanced to the Group Stage of this edition.

The first goal came in the 6th minute, a spectacular scissor kick by Facundo Callejo. Later, just minutes before the end of the match, Gustavo Cristaldo extended the lead to two with a penalty in the 87th minute.

"The Red Band" qualified once again for the First Stage of the Copa Sudamericana, where they aim to reach the knockout stages for the first time in their history.
