Messi's Greatest Wish: Seeing Barça Return to The Top
Former Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has expressed his wish for the Catalan club to "return to being what it always was," emphasizing his desire to see them winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League once again—something that was common during his glorious time as a Blaugrana.
In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, the Argentine star, now playing for Inter Miami and in the final stretch of his career at 37, remarked that Barça "has never stopped being a global reference." However, Messi dreams of seeing the team competing for titles "until the very end of each season."

"As a Barça player, you can never settle for being second or not winning, because the fans and the members demand the best from you. Being the best club in the world comes with a lot of pressure. I’d love to see Barça winning major titles again. And in seasons where that’s not possible, at least competing until the very last moment," Messi affirmed.
The most iconic player in Barcelona's 125-year history also sent a special message to the club’s fans: "I miss them so much. I hope we can see each other again soon, and I hope they feel proud of being part of the best club in the world."
