It took almost three years, but Kongsuk Sitsarawatsuer finally got his revenge against Dedduanglek Torfunfarm on Friday, August 21, as ONE Friday Fights 167 delivered a hard-fought main event rematch inside Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium. The drama didn't stop there, as Yokkiri TN Muaythai survived an early onslaught to win in his very first ONE Championship appearance in the co-main event.

Kongsuk Rewrites The Ending With Dedduanglek

The rematch everyone had circled finally arrived, and two-time Lumpinee Stadium World Champion Kongsuk Sitsarawatsuer made sure the outcome flipped this time, narrowly outpointing Road to ONE: Thailand Champion Dedduanglek Torfunfarm by split decision in the ONE Friday Fights 167 main event.

Once the bell sounded to begin the bantamweight Muay Thai clash, the pair mirrored each other, as both men exchanged kicks and probed for openings. Kongsuk was the aggressor and threw more of the blows in the first two rounds. Dedduanglek, however, was defensively sound. While he ate some kicks, he caught a few and replied in kind.

Everything changed in the third stanza. Kongsuk found his timing, working the body with knees and slipping kicks past his Thai compatriot's guard down the stretch.

That final push swayed two of the three judges in his favor. Kongsuk finally avenged the loss that had haunted him for the past three years, ultimately moving his record to 71-21 and extending his winning streak to three fights.

Yokkiri Makes A Statement In His First ONE Appearance

Chaos defined the co-main event, but ONE Championship newcomer Yokkiri TN Muaythai left the iconic Lumpinee Stadium with his hand raised following a split decision.

The Thai debutant absorbed an early barrage from Ali Al-Kinani. The Iraqi wild card's spinning strikes and heavy hands set an unpredictable tone from the opening bell, forcing Yokkiri to shell up and find an answer for his rival's flashy offense.

That answer came in the second frame. Time and again, the Thai closed the distance and worked from the clinch, landing knees whenever his opponent's volatile output left him exposed.

Yokkiri's pivotal adjustments carried him through all three rounds, and the judges rewarded his patience with a split-decision victory to make his presence felt at ONE Friday Fights.
