1) Ibra will end transfer guessing game when He sees fit after Malmo snub

Oh King Zlatan. How you doth tease Your subjects. And how we doth love it. A day after hinting that a return to Swedish League outfit Malmo was on the cards, now that the Swedish striker is footloose and fancy free after His glorious PSG spell, He has poo-pooed such a suggestion. 

"I am too good for Allsvenskan," announced Zlatan who then revealed that He was going to keep everyone guessing as long as He was feeling entertained by the antics of the scrabbling masses. 

PSG might be losing another forward this summer after His departure. Edison Cavani whilst on Made Up Copa America duty with Uruguay has said that Atletico Madrid could be of interest to him. ""It's a really competitive team that has demonstrated interest in me and that pleases me, you never know if things could go further," admitted Cavani.

2) Benzema suggests racist and political pressure behind Euro 2016 snub

Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, has insinuated that French national team coach, Didier Deschamps, was influenced by racist right-wing elements in France's political world in his decision not to select the forward for the European Championships. 

"He has bowed to the pressure of a racist part of France," claimed the striker who has just won the Champions League and scored 28 goals for Madrid this season. 

Cristiano Ronaldo's fondness for ripping his shirt off at any time like a Magic Mike dancer has reportedly not gone down too well with Real Madrid's shirt sponsors, Adidas, who would prefer the Portuguese poser to keep it on as much as possible as key, marketable moments. Like scoring the winning penalty in the Champions League.

3) Giuseppe Rossi agent confesses footballing betrayal. Sort of. 

Giuseppe Rossi's agent Andrea Pastorino, has admitted that his turncoat, traitorous client should have chosen to play for the USA where he was born, rather than Italy. 

Probably made-up transfer news of the day. An 'intermediary' has offered Neymar to Real Madrid reports a Spanish radio station, for a fee of over $200 million.

4) Chicharito rues lack of opportunities at Madrid and Manchester 

Mexican striker and only recognizable player in the country's Copa squad, Chicharito, has said that he was never really given a chance to show what he could do at Real Madrid and Manchester United. Which is a fair point.

5) Tennis returns to French Open with early Serena win 

There was damp darkness at Roland Garros today, but at least there was some play after two days of rain. Respective world number ones Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic took advantage of a break from general wetness with wins in the day's early play at the French Open. Catch all the highlights on the XTRA from 10PM ET tonight. 

Meanwhile Rafa Nadal is set to miss the pre-Wimbledon Queens tournament with the same wrist injury that saw the Spaniard withdraw from the French Open.
