Farke not feeling pressure as Leeds faces Palace
Daniel Farke insists the pressure is not rising on Leeds United in the Premier League run-in ahead of travelling to Crystal Palace.
Leeds is 15th on the table on 31 points, but is just three above West Ham United in 18th, and if other results go against it this weekend, it could slip closer to the relegation zone.
After a resurgence in December and early January, Farke's side has slipped somewhat in recent weeks, with just one win in its past seven top-flight games.
It has booked its place in the FA Cup quarter-finals after a win over Norwich City last weekend, but Farke says their focus is not slipping away from the Premier League.
"If you represent Leeds United, you always have pressure," he said.
"We are used to playing under pressure, winning points in each game. We know where we are in terms of what we want to achieve. We know the job is not done.
"Seven to nine more points are needed to stay in this league. We know, in order to do this, there is still work needed, good performances needed. We are focused like always."
Meanwhile, Palace is just two places above Leeds on the table but is still in with an outside chance of making a late push for the European places as it is just six points behind seventh.
It is alternated between wins and losses in its past five Premier League games, beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 last time out, and comes into this game on the back of a frustrating 0-0 with AEK Larnaca in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League Round of 16.
But boss Oliver Glasner remains positive the Eagles can make a late push up the table if they can find consistency.
"We will try to get as many points as possible," he said. "I always want more than the season before.
"If we can achieve it, I don't know right now, but we will definitely go into every single game to get the win."
