Sheffield United signs Phillips on loan from Man City
Kalvin Phillips has joined Championship side Sheffield United on loan from Manchester City for the rest of the 2025-2026 season.
The midfielder has featured just once for Pep Guardiola鈥檚 side this term, coming off the bench in its Carabao Cup win over Huddersfield in the third round.
Since his move from Leeds United in July 2022, Phillips has made 32 appearances for Man City, helping it secure the treble, including its first Champions League trophy, in his debut season.
This will be his third loan spell since his move to the Etihad Stadium, previously spending time at West Ham and Ipswich Town.
Sheffield United, 11 points off the promotion places and seven clear of the relegation zone, has also signed Joe Rothwell on an 18-month deal.
