Jamie Vardy is back in English football after it was announced on Sunday that the experienced striker had signed for Burnley on a contract until the end of the season.

After spending one season in Italy, Jamie Vardy has returned to England after signing with Championship strugglers Burnley.
Vardy spent last season in Serie A with Cremonese following a glittering 13-year spell with Leicester City.
The 39-year-old left the club following their relegation in 2025-26, and he has now decided to join Burnley, who sit bottom of the Championship after five matches.
During his time in Italy, Vardy played 29 times across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
He brings with him a wealth of Premier League experience, having registered 193 goal involvements (145 goals, 42 assists) in 342 appearances in the competition.
And Vardy has expressed his desire to turn Burnley's fortunes around, telling the club website: "I'm really happy to now be here at Burnley FC.
"This club has a proper footballing history and passionate fans who deserve a team that represents them and their town.
"I can鈥檛 wait to get going on the pitch and help the team move in the right direction."
Vardy arrives at Turf Moor aiming to fill the gap left by Zian Flemming, who joined Ipswich Town this summer after scoring 11 goals in the Premier League last season.
"We are delighted to welcome Jamie to Burnley," Burnley boss Nicky Hayen said of his new striker.
"His experience and leadership will be invaluable to our squad, and we believe he can make a significant impact on our campaign.
"Jamie has a proven track record, and we are looking forward to seeing him in a Claret shirt."
Burnley have yet to register a win in the Championship this season, taking just two points so far after Saturday's late defeat at home to Bristol City.
The Clarets are winless in their last 17 league games (D6 L11), last having a longer run between December 2006 and March 2007 (18).
