REPORT: Beckham Wants Ramos Reunion at Inter Miami
Yet to re-sign at Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos is apparently a target for MLS newcomers Inter Miami.
Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham wants Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos to join the MLS club, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Ramos and Beckham were teammates at the Santiago Bernabeu for two seasons between 2005 and 2007.
The report says while Ramos likes Miami, the defender is likely to stay in Europe, although Madrid are reportedly yet to offer the 34-year-old the two-year extension he is looking for.
Ramos netted his 100th Madrid goal in all competitions in Tuesday's 3-2 Champions League win over Inter, with 55 of those headers.
A move to the MLS side could see the Spaniard link up with another former Madrid teammate, Gonzalo Higuain, who signed for the MLS outfit from Juventus in September.
