An Important Absence And a Great Return for PSG's Squad in the Champions League
The PSG squad for the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Real Sociedad has been revealed. Paris Saint-Germain will face Real Sociedad on Tuesday, March 5th at Anoeta Stadium in Spain.
The Parisian club will have to confirm their good form from the first leg (2-0) and secure their spot in the quarter-finals. They will need to be precise in this second match. PSG knows they have a lot to do to continue in the UCL, but there is confidence in the team. Additionally, the Spanish coach revealed the players called up for this match, highlighting the return of captain Marquinhos and the significant absence of Asensio.
Marquinhos returns after a calf injury that kept him out since February 17th. PSG will also be able to count on Nuno Mendes in defense. However, Marco Asensio, Milan Skriniar, and Presnel Kimpembe will not be available. The full squad is as follows:
