Dusan Vlahovic Is a New Besiktas Player
Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic has left Juventus after four seasons and will continue his career at Besiktas, where he has signed a contract through 2029.
Dusan Vlahovic has a new club. The Serbian striker was announced Thursday as a new Besiktas player, bringing his spell with Juventus to an end as he prepares to begin a new chapter in Turkish soccer.
The Istanbul club had confirmed a day earlier that negotiations were underway for the 26-year-old forward before officially announcing the agreement. Vlahovic signed a three-year contract covering the 2026/27 season through the end of the 2028/29 campaign, with a guaranteed salary of €7.5 million per season.
Besiktas also prepared a presentation open to supporters at Tüpraş Stadium, where the striker will have his first opportunity to meet the fans of his new club.

Vlahovic Brings His Juventus Spell to an End
Vlahovic joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022 after establishing himself as one of the most prominent strikers in Serie A. The Turin club paid close to €80 million to complete his signing.
After four seasons, the Serbian international decided to move on after failing to reach an agreement on a contract extension with Juventus. Before beginning his new chapter, the striker used social media to say goodbye to the club, his teammates and the supporters.
“My journey with Juventus comes to an end. They have been intense years. Years of victories, goals, immense joy, but also difficult moments. I always tried to give everything every time I stepped onto the field,” Vlahovic said.
Besiktas Add a Major Striker to Their Attack
The Serbian’s arrival represents a significant move for Besiktas, who have added a striker with experience in one of Europe’s top leagues as well as at the international level.
In his farewell message, Vlahovic emphasized that Turin eventually became his home and thanked everyone who was part of his time with Juventus.
“I leave Turin with many memories, with gratitude and with the awareness that I have left a part of myself here. I arrived wanting to become part of Juventus’ history. I will gladly say that Juventus will always be part of mine,” he concluded.
Now, Vlahovic will begin a new chapter in his career with Besiktas, where he will look to establish himself as one of the Turkish club’s main attacking figures.
