A special season of Ekstraklasa soccer kicks off on Friday on beIN SPORTS.
Another thrilling season of Polish soccer is back on beIN SPORTS with the return of the Ekstraklasa, underway from Friday July 24th.
This season is an extra special campaign as the league celebrates its 100th birthday: a century of incredible drama, action, players and most of all brilliant atmospheres from some of the most passionate fans in Europe.
Lech Poznan will be looking for a third Ekstraklasa victory in a row as the league gets underway, but as always there will be plenty of challengers in a competitive league that has had five different winners over the past eight seasons.
Despite heavy investment, Widzew Lodz finished in a disappointing 14th place last season and will be targeting a top-three finish at the minimum.
Last season's surprise package, Gornik Zabrze, will be looking to improve on a second placed finish in an admirable campaign which also resulted in a Polish Cup victory.
