Inter Miami was crowned MLS Cup 2025 champions after a 3-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps at the Chase Stadium. The win marks the franchise’s first title in its history and Messi’s fourth since joining, bringing his career total to 47 trophies.
The match was dominated by Argentine class: Messi shone with two key assists for Rodrigo De Paul and Tadeo Allende, who scored the goals that sealed the victory. Édier Ocampo, with an own goal, opened the scoring for Miami, while Ali Ahmed temporarily equalized for Vancouver.
