Marseille Could Be Without A Defender Until The End Of The Season
A major setback in sight for Olympique de Marseille? For several weeks now, the Phocéens have had to do without Amir Murillo, who was injured against Rennes on January 21 in the Coupe de France.
After complications, the right-back had to undergo surgery on his adductors on February 20, delaying his return.
Two to three months of absence for Murillo
Before the international break, the Panamanian Football Federation (FEPAFUT) provided an update on social media. They indicate that Amir Murillo will be away from the fields for two to three months. Consequently, the former Anderlecht player may not play again before the end of the season.
While only Jonathan Clauss is available to occupy the right flank, Jean-Louis Gasset will have to pray for his French international to stay fit. Last week, Chancel Mbemba replaced Clauss against Montpellier.
