Toulouse doubled their advantage in the 58th minute when Aron Dønnum collected a rebound and fired toward goal. His effort took a deflection off a Le Mans defender, who inadvertently sent the ball into his own net.

Trailing by two goals, the hosts pushed forward in search of a response, leaving spaces for Toulouse to exploit on the counterattack.

Casper Tengstedt initially thought he had scored the visitors' third goal, but VAR ruled out his effort for offside.

However, the striker would not be denied for long. After receiving a long pass, he rounded the goalkeeper and finished to complete the 3-0 victory.
