In an official statement, the club extended its "deepest condolences" and offered "its full support and affection to his family, friends and colleagues."
Joan Laporta sends condolences
Barcelona also said club president Joan Laporta intends to personally convey his condolences to the worker's family and make himself available on behalf of the entire organization.
The message was included in the club's official response following the fatal accident.

How did the accident happen?
According to the Mossos d'Esquadra, the 54-year-old worker died after suffering a blow while carrying out construction work at Camp Nou.
Police officers, investigators and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene after receiving the alert, but were unable to save the worker's life.
Camp Nou renovation continues
The renovation of Spotify Camp Nou began on June 1, 2023, with thousands of workers taking part in the project.
Construction crews recently completed the structure of the new third tier and are now focusing, among other tasks, on the compression ring that will support the stadium's future roof.
