Tragedy has struck the family and inner circle of Virginia Fonseca, the partner of Brazilian soccer star Vinícius Júnior, following the deaths of her bodyguard and his wife in a motorcycle accident in Brazil.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Rogério Camilo Ramos, 53, died on Sunday, September 13, after being involved in a motorcycle accident on the BR-060 highway near Guapó, in the Brazilian state of Goiás.

The former Goiás Military Police lieutenant was part of Virginia Fonseca’s security team and was also a close friend of her family.

His wife, Paulla Regina Rodarte Camilo, also died in the accident. According to reports, the motorcycle they were riding lost control before crashing into a tree. Paulla received emergency medical treatment at the scene but later died from her injuries.

Virginia Fonseca confirmed the tragic news through social media while she was in Madrid, where she had recently been photographed alongside Vinícius Júnior.

The couple leaves behind a 12-year-old daughter, and Virginia Fonseca said she intends to support the family and make sure the girl is not left without assistance following the tragedy.
