Real Madrid Prepares Thibaut Courtois Contract Extension Through 2028

Thibaut Courtois’ future appears increasingly tied to Real Madrid.

The Spanish club and the Belgian goalkeeper are close to reaching an agreement on a contract extension through June 30, 2028, according to a report from AS.

Unlike what has happened with other veterans in recent years, Real Madrid reportedly has no intention of waiting until the final stretch of the season to make a decision. The level Courtois, now 34, continues to produce has virtually erased any doubts about his future at the club.

Courtois Remains Decisive for Real Madrid

The start of the season has once again demonstrated his importance.
