Güler: 'It's Been very Tough so Far, I Hope Better Things Come'
Arda Güler, the Turkish midfielder for Real Madrid and former star of Fenerbahce, acknowledged that injuries and lack of minutes have made his first season as a Madridista "very tough so far," but he hoped that after scoring his first goal against Celta, "better things will come."
"It was wonderful to score in such a spectacular atmosphere. I am very happy to have scored my first goal and very grateful to all the people who support me. I hope many more will come. I will work hard for it," said the Real Madrid player.
"The feeling of scoring is incredible. It was a great game, and I congratulate the team for the 4-0 win. I thank those who support me because it has been a very tough season so far, but I hope better things will come from today," he added.
Güler assured that he feels "very happy" to play for Real Madrid, "the best club in the world," and highlighted the personality he has to overcome difficult moments. "Although it is difficult, I believe I have the quality and character to overcome it."
