The 2025 Club World Cup, to be held in the United States from June 14 to July 13, already has its 32 teams ready for battle, and the recent express transfer window has brought significant moves that could change the course of the tournament. With squads of up to 35 players and the possibility to add reinforcements until July 2 in case of withdrawals, the competition promises to be fierce.
In this edition, clubs had an exceptional window from June 1 to bring in players, and many took full advantage of that opportunity. Renowned stars, promising youngsters, and players returning from loan are among the names preparing to make their debut in this historic edition.
Star Reinforcements for a World Title
Real Madrid was one of the clubs that surprised the most, not only by signing defender Dean Huijsen but also by bringing in English fullback Trent Alexander-Arnold and appointing Xabi Alonso as head coach. The European champion arrives with an even stronger squad and clearly aims for the title.
Meanwhile, Manchester City added young talents like Rayan Cherki and Aït-Nouri, reinforcing key areas of their team. Juventus was also very active, signing versatile players like Pierre Kalulu, Lloyd Kelly, and bringing back Rugani.
In South America, Boca Juniors bet on experience with the return of Miguel Ángel Russo as coach, while Botafogo added pieces such as Joaquín Correa and Arthur Cabral, showing their international ambitions. Fluminense also strengthened their attack with Venezuelan Yeferson Soteldo.
On the Mexican side, Pachuca made strong moves by signing Federico Pereira, Agustín Palavecino, and Kenedy, as well as adding coach Jaime Lozano. Meanwhile, Rayados relied on the leadership of Domènec Torrent for the tournament.
Who Has What It Takes to Win?
The transfer market has been a statement of intent for many teams. While powerhouses like Bayern Munich and Atlético de Madrid opted for targeted adjustments, others such as Al Ahly, Al Ain, and Wydad undertook deep squad overhauls, including new coaches.

With strengthened rosters, renewed tactics, and the ambition to achieve international glory, everything is set for an unforgettable edition of the Club World Cup. But only one will lift the trophy... do these signings have what it takes to make the difference?
