The Uruguayan Racing and the Brazilian Corinthians will face each other in a Group F match of the Copa Sudamericana, marked by the memory of the historic goal scorer Ronaldo Nazario.

Fourteen years ago, the Copa Libertadores brought them together at the Gran Parque Central stadium, where Mano Menezes' Corinthians won 0-2 with goals from Dentinho and Elías.

This time, the Copa Sudamericana will pit a Corinthians team eliminated early from the Campeonato Paulista against a Racing side that has secured two victories in the local Torneo Apertura.

Corinthians, led by the legendary goalkeeper Cássio Ramos, will field a lineup including Fagner, Félix Torres, Gustavo Henrique, Hugo, Raniele, Breno Bidon, Yuri Alberto, Rodrigo Garro, Wesley, and Pedro Garay.

Meanwhile, Racing, owned by Red & Gold Football (Bayern Munich and Los Angeles Football Club), will feature the young Tomás Verón Lupi, alongside Darío Nandín in attack, along with Renzo Bacchia, Guillermo Cotugno, Hugo Magallanes, Lucas Monzón, Óscar Quiñónez, Erik de los Santos, Lucas Rodríguez, José Pablo Varela, and Jonathan Urretaviscaya.

The match will take place at the historic Centenario stadium in Montevideo. In another Group F fixture, Paraguayan side Nacional will host Argentinos Juniors.
