Fluminense, with goals from midfielder André and Argentine striker Germán Ezequiel Cano, emerged victorious in Rio de Janeiro (2-0) against Olimpia in the first leg of the Copa Libertadores quarterfinals.

With a two-goal advantage in the series, the Brazilian team will travel to the Paraguayan capital next week, where they will face Olimpia on August 31.

In the semifinals, the winner of this tie will face the victor of the series between Brazilian side Internacional and Bolivian club Bolívar.
