Cristiano Ronaldo Demands From Al-Nassr the Bombshell Signing of Another Chelsea Player After Closing the Arrival of João Félix
Just when it seemed like Cristiano Ronaldo had wrapped up one of the summer’s biggest moves with Joao Félix, he’s already pushing for another one. His next target? A Premier League fullback with flair, hair… and serious minutes at Chelsea.
A new request from the captain
After convincing Joao Félix to swap Stamford Bridge for Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t done yet. According to José Félix Díaz of Marca, the Portuguese superstar has now urged the Saudi club to go after Marc Cucurella, the dynamic Spanish left-back from Chelsea. The request follows the confirmed €30M move of Félix — a deal that could rise to €50M with add-ons and a significant sell-on clause, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Ronaldo sees value beyond just the flashy headlines. After pushing hard for Félix with a national team argument, he’s now lobbying to add more European quality and familiarity to Al-Nassr’s roster. Cucurella fits that mold perfectly.

Cucurella, a Premier League standout
Since joining Chelsea from Brighton in 2022, Marc Cucurella has battled for a place but ultimately earned trust in Enzo Maresca's plans. Last season alone, the 26-year-old made 54 appearances across all competitions, including 36 in the Premier League. His energy, versatility and tactical awareness have made him a reliable presence down the left flank.
Despite that, Chelsea are under no pressure to sell. The Spaniard is under contract until June 2028, and remains a fan favorite at Stamford Bridge. There’s no indication that the club is actively looking to move him — but with Ronaldo’s influence, nothing can be ruled out in this summer’s wild transfer window.
From London to Riyadh?
It remains to be seen whether Al-Nassr will formalize the pursuit, but if Ronaldo’s voice continues to shape the club’s recruitment strategy, Marc Cucurella might just be the next Premier League star heading to the Saudi Pro League. And with Cristiano leading the pitch and the project, it’s clear: no move is off-limits.
