Vinícius: "There's a Whole Process Behind Winning the Ballon d'Or"
Brazilian international Vinícius Júnior, a player for Real Madrid, spoke on Saturday about the possibility of winning the next edition of the Ballon d'Or, emphasizing that "there's a whole process behind" achieving that prestigious trophy.
The Brazilian, who scored one of the two goals in the Champions League final that his team won against Borussia Dortmund (0-2), shared his thoughts on the Ballon d'Or and expressed his happiness at winning the Champions League for the second time.
"It's very complicated. There's a whole process behind it. I believe in the people who are with me every day and tell me I'm the best, and I start to believe it myself. I don't know what's going to happen. I want to stay here and make history like Carvajal, Kroos, or Nacho."
When asked if he wants to retire at Real Madrid, he replied affirmatively, expressing his contentment with the club:
"I'm very happy. It's something incredible. It seems easy to get here, win, and that's it. But we've suffered a lot during the season with all the injuries. Everyone has worked incredibly hard to get here," he concluded.
