Mouctar Diakhaby Expresses Gratitude for the Messages of Support
Franco-Guinean center-back Mouctar Diakhaby expressed his gratitude on Sunday for the messages of support from his fellow professionals, especially those from Valencia, who wished him a speedy recovery, and assured that "the fight will be long," but he is "ready."
"I will do everything possible to get back on the field as soon as possible and even stronger," emphasized the Valencia defender in a social media message, thanking Valencia and all the medical staff who took care of him "very quickly in the hospital" and "with kindness and compassion."
The footballer, who suffered a dislocation in his right knee after Frenchman Aurélien Tchouaméni fell on him during the 2-2 draw between Valencia and Real Madrid at Mestalla, emphasized that "unfortunately, injuries are part of the game and high-level sports."
"I want to thank everyone for the many messages of support I received yesterday after the Real game. It reaches me and gives me strength during this experience," concluded Diakhaby, who was evacuated by ambulance from Mestalla on Saturday after suffering the injury, leaving a heartbreaking image after his knee dislocated.
