Endrick: "It Will Be Nice to See How Majestic the Bernabéu Is"
The young Brazilian forward, Endrick, assured from his national team's concentration in London that it will be "nice to see how majestic the Bernabéu is" and emphasized the importance of playing there.
Signed on December 15th by Real Madrid, who paid €70 million for him, Endrick may debut on Tuesday at what will be his next stadium, as from the 2024-25 season he will join the white club, after playing on loan at Palmeiras.
The forward, who made his debut with the 'canarinha' in the World Cup qualifiers becoming the fourth youngest to play for the Brazilian national team against Colombia, has also been called up by the new coach, Dorival Junior, who will make his debut in charge next Saturday in the friendly against England at Wembley.
"It's going to be a good cycle, a new team, a new coach, a new committee, all new, right? I hope I can contribute with what they ask of me, not only me, but with all my teammates," said the Palmeiras player.
The match in England at Wembley and, three days later, the one in Spain at the Santiago Bernabéu will also be the last friendly matches before Dorival Junior announces the list of players for the Copa América, which will be held in the United States from June 20th to July 14th.
"I play a lot of video games and I know both stadiums from the games. It will be good to see how majestic it is, how big it is, how much space there is for so many people. So knowing that I will play in these two stadiums is very important," Endrick said.
"They are going to be very special matches because of all the stories these stadiums have. I hope it can be wonderful and we come out with victories," he added.
