How to watch: The T100 Triathlon World Tour
The best triathletes in the world begin the ultimate global challenge on beIN SPORTS
In the water, on the bike and on the track: Triathlon is the ultimate test for an athlete and the best of the best are coming to beIN SPORTS to compete in the inaugural T100 Triathlon World Tour.
What is T100 Triathlon World Tour?
20 of the world’s best professional triathletes – women and men – will battle it out over a season of eight whirlwind 100km races, in iconic locations around the globe. With a 2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run at each race, it’s a true test of the ultimate triathlon talent. From Las Vegas to London, Singapore to San Fransisco, the sport's elite triathletes will be competing for prize money and prestige as well as some gearing up for the Olympic Games. The season leads to the T100 Grand Final in November 2024 where the first-ever T100 World Champions will be crowned.
The first event in the T100 Triathlon World Tour is taking place on Saturday 9th March in Miami at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, the famous home of some of the best motorsport races in America. Instead of NASCAR speedsters racing around the arena, triathletes will be competing under the punishing Florida sun. Only the best will prevail.
Who is racing in Miami?
The first competition of 2024 sees 20 women and 20 men competing in back-to-back events, all inside the Homestead Speedway arena. There are three Americans in the women's race including Ironman star, Skye Moench. The four-man strong home contingent in the men's race is lead by Jason West, who is third in the PTO world rankings.
How can I watch?
You can watch the T100 Triathlon World Tour: Miami live and for free on beIN SPORTS XTRA on Saturday 9th March, coverage starts at 1PM ET / 10AM PT.
