Less than a month after delivering Spain's second FIFA World Cup title, Ferran Torres enjoyed another memorable moment in the United States.
The Barcelona forward was honored by the New York Yankees, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Yankee Stadium.
Torres wore a customized Yankees jersey with the number 7 and received a warm welcome from fans as he stepped onto one of baseball's most iconic fields.
The 26-year-old remains in the United States following Spain's World Cup triumph, where he scored the extra-time winner against Argentina in the 2026 final.
During his media tour, Torres also addressed his club future. Although he is under contract with Barcelona through June 2027, he admitted that he has not yet decided whether to remain with the Catalan club or pursue a new challenge.
"I have a contract with Barcelona, but in football you never know. I'm waiting to make the right decision. I still don't know," Torres said in an interview with NBC.
Fresh off his World Cup heroics, Ferran Torres continues to attract attention both on and off the field as speculation about his future grows.
