Trabzonspor parts ways with coach Fatih Tekke
Trabzonspor has sacked coach Fatih Tekke after their poor start to the season.
The Turkish Super Lig club invested massively to bring in Mohamed Salah as a free agent this summer.
However, it lost 5-0 on aggregate to Ferencvaros in its Europa League qualifier, and then followed that up with a 2-1 defeat to Amed in the league.
Salah scored in that game, having netted twice against Istanbul Basaksehir in a 2-1 victory earlier in August.
But Salah will now be working under a new coach, with Tekke having been dismissed.
Huseyin Cimsir will take charge of Trabzonspor on an interim basis.
