Como brings in Yan Couto from Dortmund
Como has continued to bolster its squad ahead of its first UEFA Champions League campaign, bringing in Yan Couto on loan.
Couto will spend the 2025-2026 season on loan from Borussia Dortmund, while Como reportedly has an option to buy the wing-back for €20 million ($32.7 million).
The 24-year-old made 62 appearances for Dortmund across the past two seasons, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
Como boss Cesc Fabregas praised Couto's abilities and believes the Brazilian can continue to improve at Como.
"Yan is a brave and technically strong player who gives us different options on the right side," Fabregas said.
"He likes to play forward, has great energy and fits well with the way we want to play. He is still young, but already has important experience, and we believe he can continue to grow with us."
Couto added: "I'm very happy to be here. I really like the team's style of play and its philosophy, and I hope I can help the team improve even more.
"I believe this is an important step in my career, and I can't wait to get started."
Couto is Como's fourth signing of the current transfer window after the additions of Kaiki, Mattia Liberali, Luis Milla and Andres Cuenca.
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is also reportedly close to joining Como, which will play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in its history this season.
