Real Madrid are contemplating cashing-in on Gareth Bale as they prepare to stage a massive overhaul in the summer.
Marca report that the Wales international has failed to achieve what was expected of him since he signed from Tottenham in 2013.
Lucas Vasquez and Vinicius Junior have moved ahead of Bale in the pecking order and with plenty of interest from the Premier League, a sale could take place this summer to finance moves for Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen.
Many in Madrid subscribe to the notion that the Welshman, who has won four Champions League medals with the club, has failed to meet expectations since joining in 2013.
In October 2016, Bale extended his contract with the Spanish giants until 2022, a deal reportedly worth $786,000 per week, $458,000 after tax.
So far this season, the 29-year-old has made 30 appearances for los Blancos in all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists in the process.
