The UEFA panel of observers awarded the Best Player of Euro 2024 to Rodrigo Hernández, midfielder of the Spanish national team, as announced by the organization on the stadium's video scoreboards, before he received his award on the podium.

The player, injured in the first half of the final in Berlin and substituted at halftime by Zubimendi, has been crucial in the tournament for the Spanish team.

Spain won their fourth European Championship title, breaking the tie with Germany (3), after being champions in the 1964, 2008, 2012, and 2024 editions.
