Foul? Füllkrug Shows Photo on Phone to Journalists
Germany forward asked about controversial first goal against Hungary, responds by showing a photograph on his cell phone.
Germany had no trouble against Hungary to secure their second victory in the Euro Cup and secure a spot in the round of 16. However, the match was not without controversy.
The Hungarians complained about the goal that opened the scoring for Germany, scored by Musiala, particularly focusing on a possible foul by Gündogan, who assisted in the play.
After the match, Niclas Füllkrug was asked about this. "It was a legal goal," he said, surprising journalists by showing a photograph on his own cell phone.
"Is this a foul?" he asked, showing an image where a defender appears to push him inside the box as the Dortmund forward tries to shoot.
"For me, it's a legal goal. Gündogan isn't the strongest or tallest player. He used his body well in the duel. He was strong in that play," Füllkrug added.
