Christmas gift from Besiktas to their fans: the team led by Burak Yilmaz won 2-1 away against Hatayspor in a match held at the Mersin Arena.

The score was opened in the 38th minute by Gambian defender Omar Colley, who gave the visitors a 1-0 lead.

Later on, Turkish player Semih Kiliçsoy increased the lead for Besiktas with a header, making the score 2-0.

However, Hatayspor tried to come back into the game and managed to get closer on the scoreboard with a late goal from Armin Hodzic in the 80th minute, making it 2-1 still in favor of the visitors.

Nevertheless, time was not enough for Hatayspor, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of Besiktas, who climbed to the fifth position with a total of 29 points. Similarly, Hatayspor is in the thirteenth position with a total of 19 points.
