Mourinho Targets Boca Juniors Player for Fenerbahçe
Cristian Medina has been on the radar of several European clubs for quite some time, but in recent days, it's Fenerbahçe, now managed by José Mourinho, that is speeding up efforts to sign the Boca Juniors midfielder.
According to reports from the newspaper Olé, the Turkish club has already made a formal offer for the 22-year-old player, showing willingness to spend up to $11 million.

The same reports indicate that Boca Juniors has not yet responded to the offers for Medina and plans to do so after their Round of 16 match against Cruzeiro in the Copa Sudamericana.
On the other hand, it is said that the midfielder’s release clause recently increased to $20 million, which could deter the Turkish giant, as Argentina expects to receive nearly double for this player, who is one of the most crucial for Boca's current success.
Other offers Cristian Medina has received: The midfielder has become a highly sought-after player, as he was also close to sharing a locker room with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami, after the team offered up to $8 million.
Additionally, Botafogo made an attempt, offering $7.5 million plus 20% of any future sale.
