Bologna have sacked Domenico Tedesco after just four Serie A games, with Raffaele Palladino replacing him in the dugout.

Domenico Tedesco's reign at Bologna did not last long, with the club having Raffaele Palladino lined up to replace him.
Tedesco signed a two-year deal with Bologna in June, with the option for an extra year.
However, they have just one point from their first four league matches this season, having scored a stoppage-time equaliser to salvage a 2-2 draw with Sassuolo.
Their other three matches have all ended 1-0 to their opponents – Lazio, Atalanta and Napoli, respectively.
And Tedesco's departure comes after that defeat to Napoli, with former Atalanta head coach Palladino named as his successor.
Palladino replaced Ivan Juric at Atalanta in November last year and took charge of 39 games in all competitions, finishing with a 46.2% win rate.
He won 18 of his matches in charge (D9 L12), but after only leading them to seventh place in Serie A, which secured a Conference League play-off place, he was dismissed at the end of the campaign.
Palladino has previous Serie A experience, having twice saved Monza from top-flight relegation, while he also led Fiorentina to a sixth-place finish in 2024-25.
