Barcelona sporting director Ariedo Braida has suggested that he is considering a move to for Matteo Darmian.
The Torino full-back can play on both sides and is seen as a potential replacement for Dani Alves, who looks set to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season
With Dani Alves set to leave the club this summer after failing to agree a contract with the Catalans, the Liga leaders have been consdiering the Torino full-back as a replacement.
Braida watched Torino's 1-1 draw with Roma on Sunday to take a closer look at the Italy international and is impressed with his potential but played down interest in his team-mate Bruno Peres.
"I've known Matteo since he was born," he explained to Tuttosport.
"He's good but he can still get better. Bruno Peres? For now I can say that we are less focussed on him."
Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi also spoke of a potential deal and said that the club would not stand in Darmian's way if they receive an adequate offer.
"Only Matteo can tell us if he wants a change of scenery or a new aadventure," he said.
"If an offer of decent value comes in we can sit down around a table and discuss his future."
