Mission Failed! Chelsea Tried by All Means to Sign Zinedine Zidane
The former French coach of Real Madrid has reportedly been approached regarding the position at Stamford Bridge.
Interest in Zidane
Zinedine Zidane has been out of the limelight for a few years after achieving glory with Real Madrid by winning multiple UEFA Champions League titles. Many clubs have tried to convince the French soccer superstar and former Real Madrid coach during one of his best recent periods. According to AS, former soccer coach Zinedine Zidane was a target for Chelsea to bring to Stamford Bridge to manage the team.
His departure from Real Madrid
The French coach parted ways with Real Madrid in 2021 after having managed the club at various levels and achieved the greatest European club success. It would seem that the World Cup champion would limit himself to just two coaching positions: that of his national team, France, or that of Real Madrid, where he excelled as both a player and a coach.

Chelsea went after Zinedine
The English club is said to have made a significant effort to sign the highly sought-after French manager to take the helm of a team that is struggling in the Premier League and has yet to find a solid footing to begin growing. For now, these efforts appear to have been in vain, but the possibility of the coach making a return to the field from the sidelines in the future has not been ruled out.
