Manchester United leans toward Carrick as permanent manager
Manchester United seems to have found the right man to lead its immediate future. According to what was revealed by Sky Sports, the Red Devils' management has already made the decision to start talks with Michael Carrick to offer him the permanent coaching position. The talks would begin before the last commitment of the season, on May 24 against Brighton.
While Carrick is the absolute priority, the club's leadership keeps the possibility of evaluating other names open in case the negotiations with the Englishman do not reach a successful conclusion. Even so, everything indicates that the main bet is clear.
