Jürgen Klopp Announces Departure From Liverpool at End of Season
The German coach sent a message to the Red fans in which he officially announced his departure from the club at the end of the current season.
Jürgen Klopp announced his surprise decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the current season despite having a contract until 2026.
He did so through a video posted on the club's social media channels, addressing Liverpool fans to explain his decision to end his tenure at the club.
"I'm running out of energy," said the German coach, although he clarified that it will not prevent him from giving his all for the team until the end of the season.
Jürgen Klopp arrived at Liverpool in 2015 and ushered in one of the club's most successful periods, leading them to win a Premier League title, a Champions League title, a UEFA Super Cup, a Club World Cup, an FA Cup, and a Carabao Cup (League Cup).
